General FAQ

➡️ The 5th International Symposium on Graduate Research (DEUISGR2026) will take place on November 26-27, 2026.

➡️ DEUISGR2026 will be held  fully online.

➡️ Participation in DEUISGR2026 is completely free of charge for both presenters and attendees.

➡️ DEUISGR2026 focuses on graduate research in the fields of natural sciences, engineering, architecture, and planning, aiming to bring together students, researchers, and experts for the exchange of knowledge and collaboration.

➡️ At DEUISGR2026, only oral presentations will be accepted. Abstracts must be submitted in English, while the oral presentation itself can be delivered in either English or Turkish. Please indicate your preferred presentation language during abstract submission. Poster presentations will not be available.

Participation in this symposium fulfills the conference paper requirement, subject to the applicable Graduate School regulations.

Abstract Submission FAQ

➡️ Graduate students and researchers in relevant fields are welcome to submit abstracts.

➡️ Abstracts must be written in English.

➡️ Abstracts should not exceed 500 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations) and 1 page.

➡️ The deadline for abstract submission is October 30, 2026.

➡️ Abstracts must be submitted through our Abstract Submission System.

Presentation FAQ

➡️ All presentations will be held online.

➡️ Presentations can be delivered in Turkish or English

➡️ Each oral presentation is allocated 10 minutes, including discussion/Q&A.  Please note that adhering to this time limit is crucial for ensuring that the symposium program runs smoothly. We kindly ask all presenters to respect their allocated time and avoid exceeding it.

➡️ No, only oral presentations will be accepted.

➡️ Presentations will be conducted via Zoom. Session links will be published on the symposium website’s Program page.

➡️ A stable internet connection, a webcam, a microphone, and the latest version of Zoom are required.

➡️ Yes, all accepted abstracts will be included in the Abstract Book, which will be published online as a PDF after the symposium.

Proceedings FAQ

➡️ No, full paper submission is optional. Authors may choose not to submit a full paper if they prefer to publish their work elsewhere.

➡️ Full papers must be written in English.

➡️ The deadline for submitting full papers is January 31, 2026.

➡️ All full paper submissions will undergo a peer-review process. Only accepted papers will be included in the symposium proceedings.

➡️ Accepted full papers will be compiled and published as an online PDF Proceedings Book, which will be freely accessible on the symposium website.

➡️ Yes, since full paper submission is optional, authors are free to publish their work in other journals or conferences if they choose not to submit to the symposium proceedings.
